Program Educational Objectives

Graduates of Psychological Counseling and Guidance PhD Program:

• Work as an academician or researcher in the national and international higher education institutions and programs, which are related, with psychological counseling and guidance.
• Work as a counselor holding a PhD, an educational specialist or a researcher at mainly government schools of Ministry of National Education, private sector or other outstanding government institutions and organizations.
• Take a leading researcher role in national and international projects because of their scientific qualifications and English proficiencies.
• Actively participate to the educational trainings, seminars and conferences in order to follow the national and international developments in their career field; to improve their professional developments; and to contribute to the psychological counseling and guidance field.
• Take active roles in vocational associations to improve the field and determine policies related to the field.
