Program Outcomes

  1. To have strong theoretical knowledge about the human development from conception to death in the social, cognitive, emotional, physical, neurological and cultural dimensions.
  2. To have skills to develop reliable and valid measures or assessment scales used in developmental psychology or to adapt internationally developed measurement scales into Turkish culture.
  3. To have skills to read and evaluate the national and international literature in developmental psychology, to develop their own research projects.
  4. To have skills to conduct research projects by using developmental research methods and data analysis techniques and to publish the results of these projects.
  5. To transform the results of the applied research findings into the social policy proposals.
  6. To become preferred graduates for the research and faculty positions in the national and international universities or research institutes.
