Program Outcomes

Our PhD Program aims that our students acquire below knowledge, skills and behaviours upon graduation.

  1. To interpret knowledge produced by society from a sociological perspective
  2. To renew, improve their accumulation and construct new knowledge by following up-to-date publications and research programs
  3. To produce original and expert solutions within and outside the discipline and in interdisciplinary levels
  4. To implement the ethics of sociological research
  5. To analyze, in comprehensive and expert ways, social, environmental, and economic effects in the areas where sociological approaches are appropriated
  6. To use and transfer the accumulation of sociological knowledge in an interdisciplinary way
  7. To analyze social structures and dynamics by correlating the past, the present and the future, and to identify new structures and dynamics
  8. To connect social theories of knowledge and social practices with an expert view
