Program Outcomes
Upon graduation from the doctorate program in social psychology, each alumni is expected to be able to

  1. Understand and successfully employ the latest and most advanced research and data analysis methods and techniques.
  2. Show basic understanding regarding the latest theoretical and empirical literature in the area of social psychology.
  3. Reach and critically evaluate the important literature in any topic of interest related to social psychology or other relevant disciplines.
  4. Make sense of novel information in light of the theoretical knowledge gained, and consequently find other more advanced research topics and questions.
  5. Develop and carry out a research project from beginning to end in light of the formulated research question using the accumulated knowledge from relevant literature and methods.
  6. Conduct all research, study, publishing and application activities in light of ethical principles and values.
  7. Apply social psychological approaches and findings to other areas.
  8. Work independently as an individual and as part of a team.
  9. Communicate effectively in both written and oral Turkish and English during scientific activities.
