Program Outcomes

IAM Scienctific Computing Master of Science Thesis Degree Program aims to provide students with the following knowledge, skills and behavior: 

1. They have the knowledge about processes and main areas of scientific computing.
2. They have the knowledge about current scientific literature, applications and methods used in scientific computing field.
3. They are aware of interdisciplinary approaches.
4. They are able to locate scientific resources in their field, to analyze them and to construct valid arguments by interpreting those resources.
5. They are proficient in English, and also they are able to read published scientific/technical documents.  
6. They are able to share and effectively present their work both in oral and in written form.
7. They are able to work alone or as a part of an interdisciplinary group.
8. They have the highest academic ethical values.
9. They have developed the awareness to current scientific computing problems needed by the industry and they have the knowledge and ability to apply these ideas.
