Program Educational Objectives

Our program has both academic and professional career related objectives.

• Related to academic career, the program prepares the students for advanced academic studies, by providing them with a theoretical and methodological background in Political Science or Public Administration areas, and by developing their skills on conducting research through the completion of a thesis work.
• In terms of the objectives related to professional career, the program aims to train graduates who can do research, process information, reach conclusions, and report them, as they pursue careers in high level positions in prestigious government institutions or in private companies. In addition, the program also contributes to the development of the professional careers of the current professionals by giving them the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills related to conducting research in their expertise areas as well as in new research areas, with the support of the methodological background and different theoretical approaches provided by the program.
