Program Educational Objectives

METU Middle East Studies Master Program defines its educational objectives as follows:
Our Graduates:

• Are employed in several titles such as career employee, expert, researcher and manager in several NGOs such as the Centers for Strategic Research and in public institutions like the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkish Agency of Economic Development and the Department for Turks Abroad and Relative Societies that work on the region.
• Qualify for doctorate programs in several departments of social sciences, including Political Science, Sociology, International Relations and Area Studies after graduating from the Master’s Program and are employed in several branches of academia both domestically and abroad.
