Graduates of Latin and North American Studies Masters’ Program without thesis

1. Are endowed with necessary knowledge and critical perspective regarding economic, political and socio-cultural history of Latin and North American countries.
2. Are aware of ontological and epistemological assumptions of different theoretical approaches that aims to understand Latin and North American regions.
3. Are able to follow current developments in Latin and North American countries both in English and Spanish and analyze those current developments by locating them in their historical context.
4. Are able to analyze internal regional dynamics of Latin and North American countries.
5. Able to compare Turkey with Latin and North American countries from disciplinary as well as interdisciplinary perspectives.
6. Able to conduct a survey research and brief reports on Latin and North American regions.
7. Able to make a presentation of the findings of her/his survey research or brief report.
