Program Outcomes

  1. Being able to integrate and apply the theoretical knowledge of other psychology sub areas in Work and Organizational Psychology in addition of presently gained knowledge in Work and Organizational Psychology Areas.
  2. In addition to the outcomes of a Masters’ Degree in I-O Psychology, graduates of the Work and Organizational Psychology PhD program are able to generate knowledge as well as learn classical knowledge in order to develop solutions to the issues and problems raised by the I/O literature and the industry.
  3. Being able to have skills geared toward developing testable hypotheses and empirically testing them.
  4. Skills of critically evaluating the relevant local and international literature in order to develop research according to the knowledge gap.
  5. Acquiring the skills of developing and conducting scientific research in order to produce manuscripts to be published in internationally acclaimed journals and books.
  6. Skills related to self-development, sharing the obtained knowledge, and networking through local and international conferences, seminars, and workshops.
  7. Being able to critically evaluate the relevant literature, organizational applications, and knowledge shared by others via popular media.
  8. Being able to act in accordance with the high ethical standards in every endeavor they do.
  9. Being aware of the value of their knowledge together with the limitations of their occupation.
  10. Being modest although they are aware of their competencies.
  11. Being able to defend their opinions and scientific methods and facts as they work in committees and work units.
