Program Educational Objectives

The METU History Department MA program defines its educational objectives as follows:

Our graduates are:

• Admitted to PhD programs in prominent national and international universities
• Employed as lecturers, instructors and research assistants in a number of private and public academic institutions
• Employed as experts and administrators in various public and private institutions such as the archives, ministries, government agencies, libraries, museums, foundations and publishing houses
• Work as reviewers and editors in national and international journals and publishing houses
