Program Outcomes
Our Financial Mathematics Graduate Program aims to provide its students with the following knowledge, skills and behaviors:
- They can lead group studies, can develop solutions and take responsibility.
- They are informed about the current scientific literature and methodology and have the ability to think critically.
- They have experience with interdisciplinary approaches.
- They can generate research questions, reach prime and/or secondary sources, analyze them and create necessary arguments with interpreting and evaluating the sources.
- They have developed sufficient English language skills to study the related publications to their field and make interpretation.
- They can present and share their research orally and in writing.
- They can work as part of an interdisciplinary group or on their own.
- They have the awareness of professional ethics and responsibility.
- They follow the technological developments in their field closely and have skills to understand the related algorithms.
- They can combine financial problems with mathematical theories and develop methods for both academicians and practitioners.
- They have developed awareness to today’s issues and have knowledge and skill to generate ideas which have basis.
- They have leading and pioneering qualifications in professional terms.
