Program Educational Objectives

The students who graduate from the Eurasian Studies Master’s Program (with thesis):

• Work as experts in the relevant ministries and various state institutions in Turkey.
• Work as researchers and experts in the university-related research centers or institutes established for purpose of conducting research about the region.
• Continue their academic careers as Ph.D. students or research assistants both in Turkey and abroad in the basic social science disciplines such as international relations, political science, sociology and history; or in interdisciplinary Ph.D. programs, such as Area Studies.
• Graduates who originally come from the regional countries work in their own countries as both the relevant administrative, political and bureaucratic cadres and experts in think tank institutions and research centers.
