Program Educational Objectives

• After earning a degree from the Economics Department at METU, our graduates are highly sought after by academia, business and government. Many of them embark on careers as analysts and economists at government agencies, such as the Central Bank of Turkey, The Undersecretariat of Treasury, Capital Markets Board of Turkey, as well as international organizations such as OECD and the World Bank, and domestic and international enterprises. Furthermore, some of our graduates go to graduate school in distinguished foreign and domestic universities to pursue academic careers.
