Program Educational Objectives
METU Earthquake Studies Master of Science program graduates,

• Work in research and development projects within the interdisciplinary earthquake-related fields (earthquake engineering, active tectonics, risk analysis, disaster management, loss mitigation etc.).  
• Execute effectively the tasks that require modeling and experiments within the interdisciplinary earthquake-related fields.
• Work in governmental and private institutions related to earthquake studies as an expert, researcher, and manager.
• Are primarily preferred to the doctoral programs of the most prestigious national and international universities.
