Program Outcomes

Upon graduation, alumni of METU ESS Master of Science Program without Thesis:

1. reach the data/knowledge, analyze, evaluate, discuss them scientifically and share with society in the field of Earth System Science (in the context of climate change, nature and human use, natural resources, energy, sustainability, economics and policy). They are sensitive on scientific and ethic values.
2. do needs analysis, define the problems, and applies scientific methods for the solution of the problems.
3. work on interdisciplinary fields by integrated approach.
4. as the member or in case as the leader of the interdisciplinary teams, they work efficiently.  
5. communicate well in written and spoken English efficiently.
6. follow up and be aware of studies and applications at national and international platforms, and shares his/her knowledge distinctly.
