Program Outcomes

Curriculum and Instruction Master’s program graduates are expected to;

  1. comprehend and interpret scientific knowledge related to the foundations of curriculum.
  2. comprehend and interpret curriculum development and evaluation approaches, theories, and models.
  3. comprehend and interpret basic knowledge related to teaching and learning processes and design these processes.
  4. use emerging information and communication technologies in curriculum design, teaching and learning environments effectively.  
  5. conduct original research using scientific methods and techniques and share the results in written and verbal forms.
  6. evaluate the problems and practices in Curriculum and Instruction with an interdisciplinary approach and present solutions.
  7. participate in the teamwork related to Curriculum and Instruction effectively and take the lead in the teams.
  8. follow national and international scientific developments related to the field, and evaluate with a critical perspective.
  9. develop awareness of current/social/universal issues and problems related to education systems.
  10. apply the theoretical knowledge and skills acquired in Curriculum and Instruction field.
  11. pursue studies on Curriculum and Instruction within the framework of lifelong learning.  
  12. relate curriculum, instruction, measurement, and evaluation processes in a holistic perspective.
  13. design and conduct studies considering the ethical principles.
