Program Outcomes

  1. To ably perform written and oral communication at European Language Portfolio level B1 since the language of education is English.
  2. To possess the verbal and written skills necessary to communicate Chemical Oceanography, marine-atmosphere chemistry, marine ecosystem changes, water quality classification related research in progress and/or results at national and international meetings.
  3. To be able to conduct multidisciplinary research in Chemical Oceanography and Marine-atmospheric chemistry, determine shortterm/midterm/longterm analysis/hindcasts/forecasts of climatological/anthropogenic driven impacts on marine ecosystem functions and develop scientific approaches in complex situations.
  4. To be able to utilize critical thinking skills in research, analysis and application, in measurement-monitoring methods in Chemical Oceanography and Marine-atmospheric Chemistry, nutrient cycling, environmental pressures.
  5. To be able to produce publications from either nationally and/or internationally funded research on Chemical Oceanography.
