Program Outcomes

IAM Actuarial Sciences Master of Science Thesis Degree Program aims to provide students with the following knowledge, skills and behavior: 

  1. They can establish connections between statistics, economics and administrative sciences and actuarial science practice.
  2. They have enough knowledge to success in actuarial exams.
  3. They can lead group action, develop solutions for problems and take responsibility.
  4. They have knowledge in present scientific literature and methodology, and they have the ability to look critically.
  5. They can come up with research questions, reach first and/or second hand sources, analyze, evaluate and form valid arguments.
  6. They have developed adequate English language skills.
  7. They can share and make presentations of their research both verbally and in written form.
  8. They can work as part of a group in interdisciplinary and disciplinary studies.
  9. They have academic moral and exhibit it in all their work.
  10. They are conscious about today’s subjects and have the knowledge and ability to produce grounded ideas.
  11. They have leadership skills in professional field.
  12. They have the ability to keep up with technology in the field of study.
  13. They can work independently, creatively and productively in issues that require expertise, simultaneous with scientific surveys.
