Program Outcomes

IAM Financial Mathematics Graduate Program aims to provide its students with the following knowledge, skills and behavior:

1. They can draw the connection between applied mathematics and statistics, economics and administrative sciences.
2. They can lead study groups, develop solutions and take responsibility.
3. They are informed about the current scientific literature and methodology and have the ability to think critically.
4. They can propose research questions, reach prime and/or secondary sources, analyze them and create necessary arguments with interpreting and evaluating the sources.
5. They have developed sufficient English language skills.
6. They can present and share their research both orally and in writing.
7. They can be a part of disciplinary and interdisciplinary research groups.
8. They have academic ethics and they exhibit it in their studies.
9. They have developed awareness to today’s issues and have knowledge and skill to generate ideas which have basis.
10. They have leading and pioneering qualifications in professional terms.
11. They follow the technological developments in their field closely and have skills to understand the related algorithms.
12. They can study independently in issues which require expertise in their field.
