Program Outcomes

Upon completing Biology PhD. program in Biological Sciences, graduates will be able to:

1. Generalize the inner workings of the scientific process systematically and extrapolate the results to other disciplines.
2. Discuss critically and invent novel problems, solve by choosing appropriate experimental and theoretical approaches.
3. Read, interpret and communicate literature in every aspects of biology both in English and Turkish.
4. Prepare oral and written reports in English and Turkish.
5. Identify and explain issues in various aspects of Biology.
6. Adapt the problems to the newest challenges by acting upon the need for lifelong learning.
7. Produce and interpret data as an individual, as well as a team player, and prioritize the procedure sequences in case of leadership for national and international communities.
8. Apply and defend the rules of scientific ethics within their careers and professions.
9. Publish scientific articles and texts in both English and Turkish.
