Curriculum and Instruction Ph.D. Program
Program Outcomes
Curriculum and Instruction doctorate program graduates are expected to;
- propose new models and approaches related to different components of the educational systems through the use of their advanced theoretical background.
 - use higher order thinking skills such as critical thinking, creative thinking and problem solving in the field of curriculum and instruction.
 - interpret and apply approaches, theories, and models of curriculum development and evaluation.
 - design, apply and evaluate teaching and learning processes.
 - use emerging information and communication technologies in designing curriculum, and teaching and learning environments.
 - conduct original research using scientific methods and techniques and share the results in written and verbal forms.
 - cooperate with stakeholders and take active role in collaborative studies in the field of curriculum and instruction.
 - follow national and international research related to their field and contribute to the body of knowledge and practices at the field.
 - participate in the teamwork related to Curriculum and Instruction effectively and take the lead in the teams.
 - conduct studies to develop education through establishing interdisciplinary relationships.
 - conduct research related to current/social problems of education system, create solutions and support practices.
 - evaluate critically measurement and evaluation processes of education system and propose new solutions.
 - design and conduct studies considering the ethical principles.
