Mathematics Education Ph.D. Program
Program Outcomes
- Interpret and synthesize scientific research in mathematics education literature from a critical perspective and use it for teaching practices and original research.
- Design original research to find solutions to problems in mathematics education.
- Apply appropriate quantitative and qualitative research methods and advanced data analysis techniques in the field of education.
- Conduct original scientific research individually and collaboratively for problems in the field of mathematics education.
- Analyze, synthesize and evaluate the special theories, approaches and applications in the field of mathematics education.
- Take an active role in the development and implementation of innovative education and training activities at different levels in the subjects foundational to the field of mathematics education.
- Participate in national/international activities that will contribute to academic and professional development.
- Conducts research—aimed at contributing new knowledge to the field—using scientific research methods and techniques in the field of mathematics education, and shares the results with relevant stakeholders at national and international levels, both in written and oral form.
- Comply with ethical principles in academic and professional studies.
